Head Greenkeeper

Circa £24,000 per annum

37 hours per week

Medway Norse are seeking a Head Greenkeeper to manage the presentation of an 18 hole golf course, three grass bowls, grass tennis courts and cricket wickets. You will prepare the course for play and using a variety of machines, will mark grounds for repair. Additionally, you will ensure tee markers, bunkers, golf furniture and general green maintenance is carried out.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar role, hold a full clean driving licence and be able to communicate effectively with staff and management to ensure that reasonable care is taken at all times for the health, safety, and welfare of you and others on site.

As you will be operating irrigation, drainage systems to manage the control of weeds, pests and disease, it’s essential you hold spraying certificates (PA1, PA2 and PA6A). Certificates in Turf Maintenance and Horticulture are desirable.
