Assistant Greenkeepers required at ROYAL NORWICH
Construction of a brand new European Golf Design 18 hole course and a 6 hole academy course is underway as the new home of Royal Norwich. At the same time the club will be celebrating itâs 125th anniversary in September at itâs existing course, which remains operational until the new courses are ready to open in 2019.
Growing in of the new courses takes place this summer. The 300 acre mature parkland landscape features magnificent specimen trees and free draining soils.
The new course has been designed by Ross McMurray at European Golf Design. The greens and tees are the first in the UK to be built using Profile, a USGA approved rootzone amendment that offers significant long term growing condition benefits.
The irrigation system being installed features the latest technology to offer efficient operation and optimise water use.
A purpose built greenkeeping facility is under construction and due to be completed in April. This will provide some of the best staff facilities in the industry with a dedicated training room, comfortable rest room, drying facilities, double bay workshop and cutting unit sharpening room.
We are interested to hear from career minded applicants who value learning experiences and enjoy working to a high standard, with an eye for detail.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
