Assistant Greenkeeper

The opportunity has arisen to join the greenkeeping team at Trentham Golf Club in Staffordshire.

We are looking for an Assistant Greenkeeper to join the existing team to maintain our 18 hole Championship golf course. The right candidate will need to be motivated, driven and looking to further their career at one of the Midlands most prestigious clubs. Working under the Course Manager and Assistant Course Manager you will be part of a team of 8 greenstaff and two part-time gardeners.

Having recently installed a new state of the art irrigation system, Trentham Golf Club is committed to producing the very best standards for the members and their guests, together with setting up a course capable of hosting county and national events. Trentham is currently on the approved R&A courses list and an England Golf Championship venue.

The ideal candidate should;

• Hold an industry related qualification such as NVQ level 2 or equivalent
• PA1&6 spraying certificates
• Have a minimum 2 years greenkeeping experience
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Be looking to further their career through training and further qualifications and be looking for further responsibility when it arises
